I think it’s important for girls to understand that everyone’s body is different. I think a lot of girls get discouraged because they see a 5’10 girl at 130 pounds and see themselves ( a shorter girl) at 130 or around there and aren’t as skinny as the taller girl.
GIRLS! LISTEN!<3 Taller girls are going to have different measurements and weight compared to shorter girls. And visa versa. So when you’re looking at photo’s of girls, and you’re a shorter girl looking at tall long legged girls KEEP IN MIND that you’re height is a lot tinier than them. And same goes for taller girls. Don’t think you have to be 110 or 90 or 80 pounds to be thin. A girl 5’10 and 130 pounds is going to look thin but a girl 5’2 and 130 pounds won’t look as thin as the girl being taller. And Girls shorter at a low weight between 90-115 pounds are going to look skinny but healthy! That is not a healthy weight for taller girls to be that. Same goes with measurements.
Everyone is built differently. There are small, medium and large frame, but that doesn’t mean you’re fat if you’re a medium or large frame. Different heights hold different weights. Also there are different body shapes as in straight up and down, apple, pear and hourglass. You can’t take away those curves you have if you have them. Learn to embrace them(: weight & measurements are going to look different on everyone. So when you have a discussion with another girl or see a girl being the same measurement or weight you are and looks bigger or smaller than you, just remember you guys are a different height than each other and built differently. So don’t put yourself down next time :)
Also I am going to talk a little bit about the THIGH GAP.
NOT EVERYONE is going to have a good spaced thigh gap. You could be a tiny girl and barley have a thigh gap. It all depends on how your hips are built. Some girls have wide hips (which in that case they will have a larger thigh gap) and others have a more narrow hip structure (Which won’t have much of a thigh gap). So don’t beat yourself up thinking you’re fat, chubby, pudgy, or gross because your thigh gap isn’t really there or doesn’t look like the girl you see on tumblr. (: I hate seeing girls get upset about things they can’t change because of how their body is built.
So just remember everyone is built differently. Just because a weight or measurement does or doesn’t look good or looks good on someone else doesn’t mean that you’ll look the same as them<3 Don’t give you or beat yourself up.
